It's coming home...!

Systematic are delighted to be returning for the 2010 Lincolnshire Show.

Going to the 2009 Lincolnshire Show was a big adventure for everyone here
last year, but this year we are all working like well oiled cogs to pull all
the pieces into place for a fantastic 2010 Show!

Just like the England World Cup Team, everyone has their job and knows
their position, strategies and tactics are planned, substitutes are on the bench,
after match party arranged and the manager is beginning to go slightly bald...

So come on, get your scarf knitted and come along and show your
support for the Systematic team! We'd love to see you there, shake your
hand and talk about the goals we've scored.

(Fingers crossed for gorgeous weather again this year and an England
victory on Wednesday!)

   MYBOTTLE.CO.UK

At the Lincolnshire Show 2010, we will be formally launching our licensed division, trading under the name of mybottle.co.uk

Mybottle can supply personalised bottles of Tom Wood's Harvest Bitter, as well as wine and champagne at competitive prices.

By harnessing the creativity and resources of the Systematic Design Studio, we can create completely unique design styles, allowing a very strong and unique message to be passed to your customers or staff.

The labels contain all required weights and measures and product information, but the majority of the label is available for bespoke design, in full colour, including either your own photographs or ones from our extensive stock library.

These are suitable for all sorts of corporate events - seasonal gifts, product launches, new office opening, show prizes, staff parties, retirements, golf days, etc.

There are no minimum order quantities so the gifts are also suitable for personal occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations.

At mybottle, our principle is that the gift is the bottle, rather than the box it is in. Consequently, goods are packed to minimise damage in transit, but not in formal presentation boxes.

Our flagship product is Harvest Bitter (a light golden bitter, enjoyed by both lager and bitter drinkers alike) brewed at Tom Wood's Highwood Brewery in the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Our experience is that many bottles are kept as keepsakes, mementos, or even candlesticks. The labels are vinyl and, therefore, waterproof and durable.

We also stock a range of champagne and wines, including red, white and sparkling wines, full details of which are available at mybottle.co.uk

LABEL STOCK SALE

If you have a need for some plain labels, then you may be interested in the following products, which we are offering at well below cost price.

They are continuous, sprocket fed, so won't be suitable for laser printers, but they can be used manually or on dot matrix printers.

All boxes £10 + VAT (no matter how many labels).

We have met the challenge of "continual improvement" under ISO 14001 head on. Our environmental Audit revealed some significant improvements, most of which have been achieved by increasing awareness and being more careful around our office.

Our own purchases: 88% recycled or FSC certified.
Proportion of print supplied by accredited suppliers: Up 28% to 75%
Van mileage: 9% reduction
Electricity: 18% reduction.
Gas: 12% reduction.
Calor Gas: 56% reduction.
Landfill: 13% reduction.

We were also pleased to win a Silver Gilt award in the East Midlands in Bloom competition 2009

Maybe some of you are aware that a group of donkeys is called a 'pace' or of cats is a 'clowder' but what is the collective noun for an office overflowing with talented forty somethings?

I only ask because in the last 2 years there are 7 of us here that have acheived this milestone! Perhaps that is a good word in itself...a milestone of forty somethings - although some might see it more as a millstone!

This magnificent 7 include myself (Sharon Carlton), Paul, Helen (who wishes to remain anonymous), Ruth, Tracey (the most recent), Chris and Sharon Robey. Maybe that's another suggestion...a magnificence of forty plusses!

There are several amusing collective nouns that I came across...

•A bloat of hippopotomusses (has to be my favourite!)
•A weyr of dragons  •An unkindness or storytelling of ravens
•A parliament of owls  •A smack of jellyfish
•A mischief of mice  •A rhumba of rattlesnakes

Sister Matic

As the poet says
'June, hushed and breathless, waits.
And I wait too, for June to come through the lingering
afternoon.'

To me this is saying there is so much to come it is
almost too much, too much blossom, too much
growth. Nature at her most voluptuous, almost too
perfect

Well here at Systematic we aim to be as perfect as we
possibly can, we smile all the way through June and keep on smiling all the rest of the year, as we do our best to deliver your orders to the highest standard. If we fail, although we rarely do, our June roses become very wilted and hang their heads in shame.

We can provide you with all the colours of June in our printing all the year round, and you must excuse me now as I need to go outside and check that I have exactly matched the correct shade of pink for your brochure with the dog roses in the hedgerow. Have a very happy and almost perfect June from all at Systematic.
